The Women's Free Rein 2.5 layer coat from Red Ledge offers an expedition-worthy waterproof and breathable performance at a reasonable price point. The coat shell is constructed with a patented T-Core LX waterproof/breathable coating on mini rip-stop nylon in conjunction with a DWR (Durable Water Repellant) finish and a wicking/protective micro-print coating. All of the coat's seams are taped and sealed for complete waterproof protection. The attached hood features peripheral vision adjustment so that your vision isn't impaired as well as an adjustable draw cord for overall fit. The coat is equipped with a double exterior storm flap over the zipper to keep wind out, pit zips for ventilation, and two zippered pockets with a mesh lining that can provide extra ventilation as needed. The well sealed coat has elasticized cuffs with adjustable Velcro closures as well as an adjustable draw cord at the hem to customize the fit.
